Location: Forest Area, Kombukuttai
Summary:
With the help of school and college students from our village, we prepared seed balls using
multiple sprouts and spread them along the roadside and in the forest. This collaborative
effort aimed to restore natural habitats and promote biodiversity. The students eagerly
participated in every step of the process, from selecting seeds and mixing the soil to
crafting the seed balls and strategically dispersing them. By involving the younger
generation, we not only enhanced the local environment but also instilled a sense of
environmental stewardship and community pride among the participants. This initiative has
sparked a renewed interest in conservation and sustainability within our village,
demonstrating the power of collective action in achieving ecological restoration.
